Initial Inspection and Periodic Inspection
BS EN 60079-14 section 4.3 describes the requirement to complete a 100% initial detailed inspection of all equipment, both electrical and non-electrical, to be used in or associated with a hazardous area prior to final commissioning.

Atex Solutions can carry out an 'initial inspection' and compile the verification dossier (Explosion Protection Documentation or 'EPD') containing the required information prescribed by BSEN 60079-1


This dossier includes: (not limited to)

        - Equipment manual(s) or working documents
        - Certification documentation as appropriate including            special conditions of use
        - Installation testing results
        - Intrinsically safe system information and safety            calculations
